“I have been practicing yoga with Brittany for about a year now. What sticks out the most to me is her teachings of the balance of effort and ease. Most importantly, that this balance we practice is not something that is meant to stay on the mat but something to be practiced with each and every breath in life. Brittany Griffiths REALLY knows her yoga. As a teacher myself, I often find it hard to drop into classes because I am keeping one ear open for unsafe cues. With Brittany I can instantly drop in because she has such a strong basis in her knowledge of anatomy and asana that I know she has me and that my body can respond to everything she offers without having to check with my brain. Brittany's sequences are creative and dynamic - every class offers something new and different, and yet there is enough familiarity that her class feels like home. A technically perfect yoga class is a very special thing, but Brittany offers even more than that. She offers a sense of community and an authentic wish to connect with all of those who enter her class. She also artfully weaves themes through her classes that explore the deeper aspects of yoga; the philosophy and ideas about opening to a more vibrant life. In class I feel as if she is speaking just to me.
